here I sit testing 8 people who are trying like hell to get into some kind of school so they can get some credentials, get a good job, and live happily every after even though they have been working for up to forty years.

They look so stressed, scratching their heads, 1 + 1 is what?

Does it pay the electric man?

If all it took was hard work and sweat......they would be at the top of their game.

They are the knees of the carpet layer, the callous of the landscaper

They are in need of some serious LUCK, some serious KINDNESS, SOME serious SOMETHING! They are one unemployment check away from homeless and wondering how it got to be this way after all the hard work.


But with smiles they look at me, "thanks for the test" they say.

maybe I should mark on a curve today...........kindness and luck
